President, Board and Council
Cuidiú President - Niamh Healy
We were delighted to welcome Niamh Healy as our incoming President in September 2022.
Having left a career in Chemical Engineering behind after her first two children were born, Niamh trained with Cuidiú and has been teaching Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland classes since 2005. Then becoming an Antenatal Ireland Tutor in 2013, Niamh has been an instrumental force in driving forward the Sector and is highly respected in Cuidiú circles. Niamh’s favourite Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland class is her weekly Pregnancy Relax Stretch Breathe class as they help mothers-to-be with confidence and empowerment little by little. She credits excellent Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland classes back in 1999 with making a huge difference to her own first birth experience and to starting her on this journey of meaningful work. Outside of Cuidiú, Niamh’s 3 children are adults now and she is (almost) freed up to enjoy kayaking with her husband.
Niamh was formally sworn in as our new president at Cuidiú’s AGM on Saturday 3rd September 2022.
We don’t judge. We don’t prescribe. We listen, we share, and we support.
